What does this mean for you?
EDUCATION.
Our desire is to cultivate a positive learning environment for dressage enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. We believe that there is more to horsemanship than riding a pattern, and we want to encourage all our members to further their education at every opportunity to become a true horse master. We work every year to develop new educational opportunities, from developing trailering skills to riding with an Olympian. COMPETITION. We are committed to providing top-notch show opportunities right in our own backyard. As a charter GMO of USDF, we have been present since the beginning of organized dressage in this country in 1973. NDA currently sponsors and manages two nationally-recognized Level 3 shows (one weekend, two separate shows) per year, as well as one schooling show and a year-end Schooling Show Championship. Additionally, we partner with local barns to recognize several quality schooling shows throughout the year. COMMUNITY. NDA is here to serve you. We want to encourage you to become as involved in your "horsey" community as possible, because we believe our community is what makes this sport and this area so special. Whether it's a show, a trail ride, a clinic, or a social gathering, we encourage you to go out and make friends! Then take LOTS of pictures and send them to us so we can show them off in our newsletters and website. |
NDA wants to hear from you about what is most important to you about this club. We welcome any and all feedback about current, past, or future events. If you have great ideas for an educational session, we would love to work with you to make it happen. If you'd like to see a certain award at our year-end banquet, the awards committee would love to hear your ideas. Whatever your brainstorm, we want to hear it!
