About our clinician:
MISSY FLADLAND
Missy has several national and regional championship titles and has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals, all on horses that she has trained up the levels herself.  In 2004 she was one of the top 15 horse and riders combinations selected for the first ever US National Young Horse Championships and they finished 9th. She was back there again in 2009 in the 6yr old division and finished 11th.  In 1998, 2001, and 2012 she had multiple Champion and Reserve Champion placings at the USDF Regional Championships.
Missy Fladland
Missy really enjoys taking a young horse and bringing them along through the levels.  For her it is about the journey and the relationship that is developed between her and her horses, they literally are part of her family. For Missy that is where her passion is.  Being able to show off that relationship in a show is just the icing on the cake.

The desire for that relationship between her and her horses is also what drew her to such horseman as; Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman.  It was at one of Buck’s clinics where she met her husband Kip Fladland.  Together they work at perfecting there riding and continue to educated themselves by working with top horseman.

Missy’s unique background does not stop there. She has had the opportunity on the dressage side to ride and work with the following horseman;Bill Solyntjes, Janet Foy, Debbie McDonald, Steffen Peters, Monica Theodorescu, and Suzanne Ross-Armando.

It is because of the influence of these wonderful horseman that Missy has been successful with her horses.  She holds a very high respect for all of them and values any time that she has with them.
In addition to riding horses, helping her husband run their business, facility maintenance, coupled with all of her travel, Missy also finds time for personal training.  Missy finds it a nice way to maintain a healthy, and balanced body and mind.
